Aloha – E Komo mai,

Welcome to the “Aha Hui O Na Maka’i Hauola” Club which is open to all retired/active Honolulu Police Officers or Civilian Employees. We also welcome other Law Enforcement affiliates and individuals not affiliated with a Law Enforcement agency as Associate Members. This organization was founded and established by the late Chief of Police Dan Liu in 1947.

Our members meet once every other month at a selected restaurant for an informal luncheon meeting to socialize among our peers. Members are not required to attend our meetings however, we do keep you informed of future events the club is involved with via our bi-monthly newsletters. Members with email addresses will receive their newsletter via email (this will help to keep the cost of printing & mailing at a minimum) others will receive it by post office mail.

We are a non-profit organization therefore any donations made to the club is tax deductible. Aha Hui O Na Maka’i Hauola awards three college scholarships to applicants that qualify annually. The requesting sponsor for each applicant must be a member in good standing. The applications are then reviewed by the Board of Directors to determine awardees
