For those of you that took our good advice and downloaded the Free AVG Anti-Virus you may have noticed a “slash screen” opening when you turn on your computer that states that it is expiring in Jan 2007.  Then it goes on to tell you how to purchase the next version.  Well, that is a little misleading.  Yes, the free version is expiring.  Yes, they have a new pay for version.  But also, yes, they still have a free version.

So what do you need to do?  Well, when the splash screen comes up look at the bottom and there will be a link to the up graded free version.  On the next page you will also the payed version but look for the free download.  It is there.  Merry Christmas.
