Honolulu Motorcycle Police Officer Stan Cook, during a traffic stop, is confronted by a driver high on crystal meth and a AK-47 assault rifle. The outcome is a shootout where the drive fires 20 rounds from the AK-47 and Officer Cook fires 18 rounds from his Smith & Wesson 5906 9MM pistol. The driver is killed and Officer Cook suffers life threatening wounds.
